How It Started

Born from Purpose

XLNZ Productions was founded in 2023 on a simple but powerful belief that most brands are invisible not because they have a bad story, but because nobody is telling it the right way. Buhzz Taylor and Mike Salvi built XLNZ to change that.

From day one, we approached this differently. We didn't just want to be another production company that hands you a finished file and disappears. We wanted to be the team that actually understands your audience, studies your competition, and builds content with a strategy behind it content that performs, not just content that looks good.

His background in management gives XLNZ a business-forward perspective that most creative companies don't have.

Mike Salvi

Co-Founder & Production Director

Mike is the operational engine behind every XLNZ production. He combines deep production expertise with sharp project management instincts to make sure every shoot runs on time, on budget, and on brief. Early 2023

The Vision Takes Shape

Buhzz Taylor and Mike Salvi identify a gap in Philadelphia's production market brands with great stories but no team who knows how to tell them strategically on video. XLNZ is born to fill that gap.

November 2023

XLNZ Productions Launches

The company officially opens with a full production setup professional cameras, lighting, audio, and editing capabilities ready to serve clients at any scale from day one.

Late 2023 – 2024

Building the Podcast Roster

XLNZ rapidly builds Philadelphia's most active independent podcast production roster signing 10+ shows and establishing a reputation for quality, reliability, and results that keep clients coming back season after season.

2024 – 2025

Expanding Into Film & Brand Video

With a proven production track record, XLNZ expands into full film production, commercials, and corporate brand video bringing the same cinematic standard to business clients across Philadelphia and beyond.

May 2026

Meet The Sickos Cinemark Premiere

XLNZ independently writes, funds, and produces Philadelphia's first homegrown horror slasher film Meet The Sickos screening at Cinemark in West Philadelphia. A milestone that proves what's possible when the XLNZ standard meets full creative control.
